When my mammogram showed inconsistent calcifications, my GP recommended Dr Ong, purely based on information available online. At my first appointment, I found Dr Ong to be down to earth and caring. He took the time to explain clearly his findings and recommendations, before presenting options on what should be done. He also went on to consult the radiologist if a simpler hook wire localised biopsy was possible rather than lumpectomy. However, due to the location of the calcifications, surgery was the only option. I was terrified but Dr Ong kept assuring me that he has performed this procedure regularly and the risk is negligible.
At the operating theatre, nurse Zhi Qi was comforting. She made conversation with me and held my hand to calm me. After the surgery, I was also concerned of the scar but Dr Ong did a great job and the scar is hardly noticeable now. You can trust Dr Ong and team with his skills, professionalism and care. I had a pleasant experience. Praise God!

Dr Ong is extremely passionate with what he specialises in.
A very down to earth and knowledgeable doctor!
He reviewed all my past records and really put me at ease as he explained things clearly and patiently answered my questions every time.
Not only are his skills top notch, so is his work ethic. He puts the welfare of his patients first.
As Dr Ong discussed the options available for reconstructing my breasts, he was decisive in his recommendation and advised the option of total skin sparing mastectomy (including preservation of the nipples). He also advised me not to sacrifice muscle which potentially can affect function in the future.
Dr Ong is totally a trustworthy doctor who gave me a lot of confidence in going through with the surgery.
Also, I received excellent care from the whole team especially his nurse, Zhiqi, who is always there for me. And all his staff at the front desk are always efficient and try to accommodate requests, whenever possible.
I am really grateful for the excellent care provided and thank you so much!
