After being in Dr. Ong & team’s care for more than six months since the initial diagnosis of breast cancer, I can truly say that I’ve never been taken better care of by another practitioner, whom also has the best team of nurse/support. The ladies at the clinic are always ready to help, efficient and empathetic. Dr. Ong’s assistant, Zhiqi, is a gem. She has offered her assistance, above and beyond her duties and work schedule so very often, that I have lost count but never failed to be impressed.

Very grateful and fortunate to be referred to Dr. Ong, who from the beginning of my journey, patiently shared his vast knowledge on my condition. With every consultation, I learnt something new.

Knowledge conquers fear.
I was able to journey on with hope and confidence, undergoing surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy, with much support from Dr. Ong and his team. In my interaction with other specialists, I learnt that Dr. Ong is reputed and well-respected in the medical field, even regarded as a mentor to some.

Despite facing health challenges, one can still find hope and win, when the team that takes care of you is more than a doctor, educator and mentor.

In my case it all started with a regular mammogram screening in early March this year. The report came back showing a suspicious lump. I went to see Dr Ong Kong Wee. Dr Ong is very friendly and patient in explaining the situation to me and answering all my queries clearly. He immediately arranged a biopsy and when cancer was detected he followed up with a lumpectomy operation. Throughout this difficult time he was able to put me at ease and I went through the surgery with confidence that I was in good hands. Dr Ong did a splendid job in the surgery and I am now recovering well under his care. Many thanks to Dr Ong and also to his whole team and especially nurse Zhiqi for all their care and encouragement.
