A big thank you to Dr Ong and his team of wonderful assistants for holding my hands on this arduous journey of battling breast cancer. Though I was upset with the diagnosis results, Dr Ong put me at ease with his calm demeanour and professionalism like no other. There was no need to seek second opinion and my family trusted him from the first consultation.

Dr Ong stayed back late to perform biopsy so that I can move on to treatment quickly. He asked that I texted his assistant, Zhiqi, a picture of my wound at 11pm before they can all go to bed with a peace of mind. That’s true dedication. He goes through scans in great details, leaving no stones unturned. I had a suspicious lump on the other breast and Dr Ong removed it by vacuum assisted biopsy which thankfully turned out to be benign. I’m so thankful that this was picked up by Dr Ong early.

I have experienced nothing but great care and concern from his team. I landed in the hospital due to food poisoning and they visited me as well to make sure I was ok. I wanted to have my op on a particular day and Zhiqi made all the bookings within 15mins when I texted her my request.

I’m halfway through my treatment plan now and looking back, I couldn’t have asked for a better team to partner with on this journey. I highly recommend Dr Ong for any breast related consultation and advice. You are definitely in good hands with him around. 🙂
