I’m alone here, far away from my home in Bay Area, California. I discovered a lump in my breast. No words to express my anxiety, fear and emotions. My tough journey began, searching the doctor for the treatment of my breast cancer.

Engaged in various activities/subject to distract my thoughts on the negativity of the disease. It was not easy. I’m glad I found you, Dr Ong. Thank you for your calm demeanour, expert care, experience and thoughtful words. You built my confidence when I needed it most. After my consultation, I’m so impressed with the scheduling for the various tests, including the operating theatre, hospital room that were arranged promptly and the report on tests done swiftly. Thumbs up to your superb, efficient team – Zhiqi, Rachel, Yokie and Giselle.

In between our discussions, your humour bringing a smile to my face during this difficult time in my life is so much appreciated. Your buddy approach combined with your dedicated nurse, Zhiqi helped me to face my cancer treatments with a brave, positive front. Big hug to you and Zhiqi.

I can see the numerous patients under your care and you’re very passionate in your work. I know you go home exhausted, yet you keep going. I’m in awe of your strength and determination. I’ll always be grateful for your positivity, expertise, good humour and care. You’re a blessing!
